About Me
I’m a freelance journalist and writer based in India. I write on science, environment, health, and culture, with a focus on wildlife conservation, climate change, environmental justice, food and farming and women’s health.
I have several years of editorial experience at digital publications and creative studios in India. I’ve also worked freelance as a copy editor and proofreader, photographerand researcher.
I’ve been a fellow with Terra.do, deepening my understanding of climate science and communication with a global cohort. I’m also trained in street documentary photography and photojournalism. Most recently, I completed the Lede Program at Columbia University — a data journalism bootcamp where I learned coding, data analysis and visualization.
I’m open to new projects and collaborations in writing, editing, research and storytelling.
